The hike to Bukit Berekeh begins with a long walk through an oil palm estate before reaching the start of the hiking trail. This hike is best enjoyed during sunrise or sunset, but it is recommended to arrive early since there is no shade on the trail. Once you start the hike, the trail is very clear and marked with pieces of cloth tied to the trees, making it easy to follow. The terrain is rocky and becomes more challenging as you hike towards the ridge.
As you approach the peak, the view becomes more and more impressive, with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Once you reach the top, you'll find a small space to rest and take in the views. It's important to note that there is no shade on the trail, so it's best to come prepared with plenty of water and sunscreen.
