Therapeutic Recreation and Life Skills Outpatient Services help clients who have goals related to recreation or life skills. We work with them to set the goals and then work towards them, so that they can be as independent as possible in their home and community. Our programs are all focused on calculated risk, so, opportunities for kids to try things out in a supported environment, um, where they may not otherwise have the chance to, to do that. Increasing their independence in their lives, and, often, just meeting new people and socializing. It's a girl thing. It's a group focus on, um, teenage girls and pre-teen girls and some of the issues that come up around that age group, and, we just had a number of clients who came to us with goals related to things like self-esteem and relationships and appearance and, and so when that happens, we notice a trend in goals. We'll put together a group to support that.
