We Took the Scania to an International Truck Dealer – Here’s What Happened

Описание: Today we took our blue Scania R 770 over to Thompson Truck Group in Cookeville, Tennessee – an International Truck dealership and the sister company to Scania Trucks USA. We linked up with our good friend Matthew, who runs the dealership, and gave the whole team their very first up-close look at this European powerhouse.

John Thompson, who owns the dealership network, is a solid guy and has built something impressive. One of their lead mechanics came out to check over the truck, and he had a ton of great questions — some I could answer, and some I’ll need to go do my homework on.

Matt even got to take the Scania R 770 for a drive — it was his first time behind the wheel of a European cabover like this. The reactions from the team were awesome, and it sparked some real conversation about what trucks like this could mean for the U.S. market.
