In this video, we discuss a key fundamental aspect of overall competitive VGC play: speed tiers! Knowing speed tiers allows you to plan matchups accordingly in a Bo3 setting and also allows you a playstyle if you know you outspeed certain threats or not. This also impacts EV spreads if you specifically EV a Pokemon to outspeed a key meta threat. For Regulation G, it's important to keep in mind the speed brackets and tiers of things like Calyrex-Shadow Rider, the base 135s like Koraidon & Miraidon, as well as mid-tier base 90s like Kyogre & Groudon.
