Porsche 962 chassis 122 helped Dyson Racing to propel its team to the peak of IMSA's GTP class in 1986, and with Skylar Robinson behind the wheel for the 2016 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, another interesting chapter has been added to the car's legacy.
The son of Chip Robinson, who won the 1987 IMSA GTP Drivers' championship piloting a Porsche 962, is a burgeoning professional in the junior open-wheel ranks, and looks right at home with the 2.8-liter flat-6 turbo making 800 hp available under his right foot. Enjoy the second-generation phenom in a short sprint race at Laguna Seca and all the fierce sights and sounds that come with the ride.
