In today’s video, we’ll walk you through a step-by-step guide to add the ads dot txt file to a Squarespace site, even if you're on the free plan.

Method 1: Static Squarespace Method (Free Plan)
Let’s start with Step 1: Create your ads dot txt file.
Open any text editor like Notepad or TextEdit and paste the code you receive from Google AdSense.
Here’s a sample code I use:

google dot com, pub dash zero zero zero zero..., direct, f zero eight c four seven f e c zero nine four two f a zero
(Note: Replace the pub ID with your own)

Now save this file and name it ads dot txt.

Step 2: Upload the ads dot txt file to your Squarespace site.
Since the Squarespace free plan doesn’t allow root directory access, we’ll add this file as a downloadable link.

Here’s how to do it:

Go to Pages in your Squarespace dashboard
