Pistachio Parrot is an album mostly written in Greece, with artwork and song titles to reflect different moments of that vacation. The album serves as a musical postcard and memory of time spent there, drinking coffee on the terrace watching the wild cats run about, or walking along the harbour seeing the small fish dart about. Recorded at the legendary Emil Berlin Studios on Alan’s new Åstrand Goldfish guitar in single takes with no punch-ins, overdubs or other effects.
