The trek to Saryolsar lake starts from Jalori Pass in Himachal Pradesh . It’s one of the best ecotourism spots in the state. The trek is approximately 6 Km and it takes about 3 hours to reach the lake. The whole path is surrounded by Oak and Alpine trees on both sides.
There are tents near the lake for stay and dhabas (restaurants) as well. There a few shops near Jalori Pass and on the way to the lake with very limited supplies. Don’t expect much there. It’s expensive too.
