Описание: During our voyage from Rome to the island of Crete, our ship was wrecked in a storm. I regained consciousness when land was already visible on the horizon. While I was unconscious, my faithful friend Malthus helped me cling to a piece of the ship’s plank. Apparently, the storm had scattered all the members of our crew in different directions.

When we finally reached shore, an unexpected sight greeted us: we found ourselves in an endless desert. Exhausted, we trudged under the blazing sun across the vast sea of sand in search of water, sometimes regretting that we had survived.

After several days of grueling and fruitless wandering, we stumbled upon an oasis. I thought it was a mirage, a trick of my confused and weakened mind oppressed by the desert. However, Malthus, with his last bit of strength, hurried towards the oasis to prove me wrong. He was stronger and more resilient, and walked ahead.

When I looked up, I saw a real oasis, but Malthus was no longer in sight. Instead, there was a gaping black hole where he should have been standing, filled with his eerie cries for help...
