Описание:
“Tōfā my Feleni”, “Farewell my Feleni” or simply “Samoa Song” is a famous Samoan folk song and sea shanty written in 1889 by Fa'atui Fuimaono Voa after the 1889 Apia Hurricane. The song was made in farewell to the American sailors who had been rescued from their ships during the hurricane. However, before the incident, multiple American and German ships were on a standoff in Apia as it seemed conflict was imminent, though the aforementioned hurricane wrecked both sides before anything major could occur.

Lyrics:
Tofa my feleni,
'ole'a 'ou te'a.
'ai folau i le va'a
le ali'i pule i Meleke.
Ve'i galo mai Apia,
si o ta 'ele'ele
'ae manatua mai pea,
le 'aupasese
Oh, I never will forget you,
Samoa e ne'i galo atu
Oh, I never will forget you,
Samoa e ne'i galo atu
Fa'afogafoga
mai Samoa 'uma
'ai se'i fai atu
o la'u fa'atusa
pei 'o le Susana
i totonu o mauga,

i taupou 'uma
Fa'ato'a iloa

E mutimutivale
