U.S. Senators reconvened Saturday morning on the 39th day of the Government Shut Down to has out the gridlock over healthcare specifically as it relates to tax subsidies set to expire on 12/31/25.

SNAP benefits for 42 million empoverished Americans has been leveraged in this political tug-of-war to force a vote but parties are holding the line while citizens grapple with the threat of mass hunger.
