It is the second deepest lake in Washington with depths of 624 feet and visibility as far down as 60 feet. The pristine waters of this glacially carved lake make it an ideal destination for swimming, camping, hiking and more. It is also located in a popular recreational area that is home to several trails, including the Spruce Railroad Trail, Pyramid Mountain Trail and the Barnes Creek Trail to Marymere Falls.
