It follows the life and career of Marlee Matlin, the first deaf performer to win an Academy Award for best actress for her role in “Children of a Lesser God” (1986). “The Thing with Feathers” is a 2025 British drama film starring Benedict Cumberbatch and follows a father and his two young sons dealing with the sudden death of their wife and mother.
