Deep in the mountains of Ishikawa Prefecture lies Ozuchi, a village that once thrived with life but eventually became a "ghost town." Today, it is home to just one man who returned to restore the land and preserve the history of his ancestors.
In this video, we explore the quiet beauty of Ozuchi’s terraced rice fields and the incredible resilience of its sole resident. But he isn't entirely alone—thanks to the power of international volunteering, young people from around the world are helping to breathe new life into this "one-man village."
