Описание: Whit Masterson was the pseudonym for the writing duo Robert Allison “Bob” Wade and H. Bill Miller. They also wrote under the pseudonym Wade Miller and I think maybe one or two others. One of their most famous works, BADGE OF EVIL, was adapted into the classic film TOUCH OF EVIL (directed by Orson Welles). I'd describe this author team as medium-boiled and versatile, in that their books vary in tone and plot. I liked this one quite a bit, preferring to DEVIL ON TWO STICKS, one of the Wade Miller titles, which I read about a year ago.
