1. Click on settings
Settings is a gear icon at your home screen. Click on it. 

2. Go to General Tab (inside settings)
Now click on the battery icon

3. Now you can See an organized view of what's sucking juice
Apps will be displayed in a descending list of battery usage. Remove battery hungry apps (delete them). Yes, You heard me. Delete apps that are killing your battery. Use web browser if you think Facebook is a critical app.

4. Swipe down from top edge of the Android phone
Now you can turn of hardware radios. Turn off Bluetooth, location, Wi-fi and you will save battery juice.  

5. Really power hungry, Go to power saving mode
Go back to settings (gear icon), general tab, and go to power saving mode. Make it on. This will move phone into a limited text, phone call and web browsing mode. This feature is really powerful. A real power booster for your battery.

6. Get active app widget
To add widget go to the home screen (click on home button), click on menu button (the button left of home button) and choose Widgets. Now choose Active app widget. 

7. Active app widget will show you which app is sucking battery juice
