"Equal Heights" is the ninth release in Riot Jazz Brass Band’s ambitious 12-single project, which sees the group dropping a new track every month for a year. Written by trumpet player Sam Warner, this tune is a trombone feature built around an ever-evolving, soulful melody — all delivered with the unmistakable Riot Jazz flair.
The track takes its name from a drink that’s become a staple within the band: the "Ki", named after featured trombonist Kieran McLeod. Demanding equal heights of vodka, orange juice, and prosecco, it’s a bold concoction — and definitely not one for the faint-hearted.
