Hey guys,
Welcome back to my newest video. In this video i will be fixing the “hinge” AKA the back cover on this ASUS TUF Gaming Laptop 16” Model FA617/FX617/FX607 - The customer brought it in to me and wanted to get this fixed. The hinge is not broken on this laptop, the back cover is. The back cover separated from the hinge. So, a new back cover was installed along with a new LCD display. The LCD display was also broken, but if you wanted to replace the back cover, this is the same exact way you would do it. This is still a pretty expensive laptop, and it is definitely worth repairing. The new back cover saved this laptop, and now it can be used again! After the repair was complete, the laptop looked like new again.
