When I first moved into my van full-time, I had one big question: how on earth do you stop a cat from disappearing into the wilderness every time you park somewhere new?
Savannah, being a Maine Coon with the confidence of a small lion, wasn’t exactly born for “staying close”. So I built a simple 8-step system to teach her how to recognise the van as home… no matter where we travel.
In this video I walk you through exactly how I did it:

1. Letting her explore the van at her own pace2. Taking short drives to build her confidence3. Our first overnight trip (and what actually worked)4. Moving into the van full-time together5.
