Just wrapped up another great video this morning, and today was all about deadlifts and bench. I switched things up and skipped the treadmill, going straight into dynamic warm-ups with the sled and hip thrusts to get everything firing. Once I felt warm, I moved into deadlifts and worked through three sets at 275, 285, and 295. The sets felt solid overall, even though they could’ve felt a little lighter, but the work still got done. After that I went into flat bench and kept it simple with 185 on the bar, hitting around 7 to 10 reps per set. once bench was done, I added in some rear delt work and back extensions to get more blood flow through the upper back and lower posterior chain. To wrap things up, I finished with dips because bodyweight movements are huge for shoulder health, mobility, and long-term strength. nothing fancy today, just quality reps, good movement, and leaving the gym feeling better than when I walked in.
