Utkal University to Be Free of Non-Students as Commissionerate Police Raid Hostels

Описание: Utkal University is set to be cleared of non-students as Commissionerate Police conduct a major raid on its hostels today. The police crackdown began at 10:30 AM across various hostels. Non-students will be evicted from Hostels 1, 2, 3, and 5. Senior university officials are also participating in the raid alongside police officers. The PG Council has canceled all university classes until 1:30 PM. For security purposes, three platoons of police force have been deployed at Vani Vihar. Five ACPs, four IICs, and thirteen SIs are involved in the raid. Zone 5 ACP Biswaranjan Senapati will act as the Executive Magistrate, and senior police officer Anup Kanungo will oversee the entire security operation.
