Ballerina Ashley Benefield Remains Stone-Faced As Late Night Verdict Is Read

Описание: After deliberating all night, a jury found ballerina Ashley Benefield guilty of manslaughter in the death of her husband, Doug Benefield. In September 2020, Ashley Benefield ran to a neighbor's house in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and stated she had just shot her husband. Douglas Benefield had several gunshot wounds to his leg, arm, and chest area. Ashley Benefield claims she shot him in self-defense after months of alleged abuse. She was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Ashley Benefield made bail and has been living with family and her daughter since the crime.
