Are you ready for a super satisfying before and after minimalist living room makeover! I'm sharing the ugly/scary cluttered BEFORE and then the AFTER; an incredible transformation into a very tidy and minimal living room space (with even a little decor)! I can't believe how this turned out! And the best part is? It didn't cost us a cent! So, I hope this inspires you if you're also on a budget but want to transform your own living space into a peaceful minimal escape. It is possible! We used ONLY the items we had on hand already. The things we were either planning to give away during our whole house decluttering or just repurposing pieces creatively to work for us in this space specifically.

We're taking a brief break from the decluttering and organizing as I just take you around our small living room and give you an up-close minimalist tour of how it all turned out, from cluttered to clean, and dare I say, actually... beautiful? I LOVE spending time in our living room now! I used to dread going in there, seeing all the "to-do's" laying around everywhere (aka clutter and mix-matched furniture) that truly stole my joy and more than that; my peace. I constantly was reminded that there was more to do, and the clutter told me over and over again that I'd "never get to the bottom of this". That I'd "need to spend tons of money in order to make it look nice" in there. Do you ever have these thoughts?? These were all lies and limiting beliefs. Trust me, if we could transform this small yet wall-to-wall cluttered living room space without spending a dollar on a budget, so can you! My "Messy to Minimalism" Series takes you with me as I go through the ENTIRE house decluttering and organizing to become more minimal! I hope it is extremely motivating and helps you declutter and organize your own home as you CLEAN WITH ME! This is going to be a HUGE process so prepare for lots of videos throughout the whole thing! First, we'll be starting with extreme DECLUTTERING and MINIMIZING (step 1) in order to become a true minimalist (meaning, I only keep the things I actually like and use in my home! This looks different and unique for everyone!), next, we'll set off deep into actually ORGANIZING (step 2) and making things look pretty. Then, finally, we'll get to MAINTAINING the home (step 3). Of course, I will tweak things as I learn and go along this journey to minimalism but ultimately my end goal remains the same: to become minimal with my belongings and simpler with my life routines so that homemaking and upkeeping my home in general (cleaning, chores, etc.) are as easy and stress-free as possible so that I can LIVE MORE! Being a new mom and someone who struggles with chronic fatigue and energy issues, this is a MUST if I want to feel peace in my life and even have a chance at staying on top of my to-do's.
