It is very important to know what is a blog, but more important is, for "what" are YOU going to use a blog? You need to have a subject, theme, something to blog about. The word "blog", comes from the word "weblog". A blog is a discussion and / or informational website about a particular subject that you want to share with your audience. Blogs are today used for both personal and business purposes. Although blogs started out as a form of weblog or journal type of way, now they are called simply websites by most people. The blog structure is universal and can be tweaked the way you like within certain blog structure guidelines. Lots of big companies use a blog as their way of being present on the internet, connecting with their audience.
