Описание: Commercial Papaya Cultivation is becoming very popular in Bangladesh in recent times as now good quality high yielding papaya varieties are available in the seed market of Bangladesh. As its fruits are used both as vegetables & fruits; this is why there is a very good market demand of papaya all over Bangladesh. Dinajpur district is very well known for fruit production and recently a good no. of farmers are now cultivating high yielding good quality papaya variety/varieties either in their own land or lease lands. As per grower, almost 100-110 kg of papaya fruits can be obtained from a single plant. Good quality papaya fruits are very nutritious and tasty and in some cases a good quality ripened fruit is sold at the rate of 100-120 Tk. per fruit.
