1.
God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. [Ephesians 1:22~23]
2.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. [Psalm 119:105]
3.
Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written. [John 21:25]
Let us fill the world with the Lord's writings and songs.

Where Two or Three Gather | Deuteronomy Chapter 17
“On the testimony of two or three witnesses a person is to be put to death, but no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.”
(Deuteronomy 17:6, NIV)
“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
(Matthew 18:20, NIV)
Today, I meditated on the phrase “two or three” found in Deuteronomy chapter 17.
In his old age, Moses carefully explained God’s decrees and laws to the people of Israel. In today’s passage, he speaks about a serious situation: if someone is found guilty of idol worship, they were to be put to death.
Yet God gave a clear instruction. This judgment must not be based on the testimony of one person alone. Only when the matter is confirmed by two or three witnesses could such a decision be made.
As I reflected on this, I thought about the world we live in today. Ours is a society where individual opinions often carry more weight than the voice of the community. Personal feelings, thoughts, and perspectives are emphasized—and sometimes, that can be understandable.
When it comes to praising someone, this may not cause much harm. But when it comes to accusing or criticizing another person, relying on a single individual’s judgment can be dangerous. One person’s emotions may not be objective. It could be influenced by misunderstanding, bias, or even resentment.
In such situations, Scripture teaches us something important. God’s people are not to make serious judgments based on one voice alone. Instead, decisions are to be made within community, through shared discernment.
This reveals something deeper about the heart of God’s kingdom. God’s work is not centered on individual greatness, but on humble community.
This truth is echoed in Jesus’ words in Matthew 18. He did not say that God is present where one impressive individual stands. Instead, He said, “Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” God promises His presence when people come together humbly, centered on His name.
Today, I pray that you experience the presence of God as you gather with two or three in His name.
May we go even further—choosing not to gather in order to criticize or judge others, but to worship, pray, and lift one another up.
May God shape us into precious communities where grace is shared, truth is discerned together, and His presence is clearly felt.
