Dan Presland (Black Lava) Soul Furnace

Описание: Here's the first single 'Soul Furnace', from my new band Black Lava. We approached this record with a very real and organic production in mind, keeping performances honest and the tones are basically what you hear in the room. Drums on these videos were engineered by Troy Mccosker, and mixed by Declan White.

I had a lot of fun putting this record together, it was very different to my normal approach - it was very much get in the studio and capture what comes out, pretty rock n roll style. The whole record was put together and tracked within a few months. I re-tracked every song off the record for these play thrus, so keep an eye out for those. As usual, no quantizing/edit/video tricks. All drums are natural except a blended kick drum.
