Описание: Kurt Fearnley and the integration of para-sports at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games has been voted as Australia’s Best Sporting Moment of 2018 at the #AIS Sport Performance Awards. Para sports provided numerous highlights from the first Commonwealth Games to boast a fully-integrated program, yet nothing surpassed the inspiration of Kurt, when the seven time world champion added T54 wheelchair marathon gold to his 1500m silver. Kurt described the Commonwealth Games as “the most inclusive event that our nation has ever hosted”. Kurt accepted the award at a gala presentation ceremony in Sydney on 13 December 2018.
