My first ever trip to Kansas City, Missouri from June 27th to 29th to attend Airliners International for the first time since 2022 in Chicago. I flew with United thru DEN both directions and this was my first time flying into (and out of) MCI. Never had a chance to see the old terminals but caught a good look at them from atop the brand new parking garage conjoined to the new terminal which was very nice and fresh. The highlights of the convention were definitely the pair of tours I went on at Jet Midwest and the Tristar Experience, both were jaw dropping. Friday night BBQ at the TWA Museum at the downtown airport was also super fun. I rented a car for my last day to explore KC before venturing back to PHX. Overall, a successful and fun trip with some once in a lifetime aviation experiences!
