Here is a quick photo and video taken in October 2025 - along with some older photos found from free online sources from 2019 and 2020 - featuring a mockup R211 car numbered 4256. This is different from the R211A car numbered 4256 on NYCT property, as that 4256 is in the middle of a 5-car set and has no cab end.
Unlike the mockup presented to the public between November 2017 and December 2017, this mockup better represents a standard R211 car. It was likely constructed for engineering purposes, for example, to verify that various parts (seats, stanchions, truck, signs, cab door, console, side doors) can seamlessly integrate with a realistic R211 carbody.
