Описание: #OperationSheruwali : Security forces on Friday intensified anti-terror operations in the dense Dorimal–Gambhir Moghla forest belt of Rajouri district as Operation Sheruwali entered its seventh consecutive day.
Joint teams of the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF and other security agencies launched fresh assaults on suspected terrorist hideouts, tightening the cordon with the assistance of drones, helicopters, sniffer dogs and additional troop deployments. The operation is focused on tracking down two to three terrorists believed to be hiding in the area.
Officials said fresh fire assaults and Multiple Grenade Launcher (MGL) attacks were carried out on suspected hideouts amid indications that the terrorists, believed to be of Pakistani origin, remain trapped within the forested terrain. Security forces have also been tracking bloodstains and movement trails reportedly left behind by the fleeing terrorists during earlier exchanges of fire.
The operation was launched after intelligence inputs indicated the presence of terrorists in the Singhpora–Chatroo area of Rajouri. Contact was established on May 23, triggering an extensive counter-terror operation in the rugged forest region.
