@18 - Greenhouse, wood & replanting plum

Описание: !! Attention!! Aliens arrived to our place (LOL) and cocked up our settings on go-pro. Unfortunately to a very dodgy stretched and blurry format! It took us a while to figure out what has happened, so few more videos will be full of wide people and cats and blurry dreamy alps. Apologies!

Our newly installed wood-burning stove "Agnes" is amazing & heating us, cats and the house well (in fact the cabin started to crack and the wooden walls are splitting up a bit!).
When loaded the fire lasts about 8-9 hours and it keeps the cabin incredibly warm (about 25-30 degrees C), something we've never encounter in the scottish house where we heated to 17 degrees due to the cost of gas!!
We've created a regular plastic greenhouse as it's getting a bit cold for our veggie, but we're hoping to make a proper Greenhouse build into soil at some point next year. Garden is looking amazing, we've harvested potatoes, daikon radish, nasturtiums, tomatoes, peppers and two aubergines, for the celeriac we will wait a little longer - perhaps a next year.
Few runs down to town for food supplies - this is happening on weekly bases as we need to take our bins down and shop some food. It's a bit challenging with only two bags, but it works.
It's mid of October and we are still cooking outdoor :) The view is incredible.
The winds are getting stronger and lots of leaves are falling onto the ground every-day, so sweeping leaves became a weekly job now.
We are cutting up boxes for garden paths and also collecting wood for the winter as not sure how much we will burn (that's in the stars, but we should be calculating this :)
We've also decided to replant local plum which was buried deep in the forest and so had not much light there, we replanted it to our West side where she can bath in sun as much as she like :) Hopefully she will like it. She had quite a deep root and was actually much bigger than we thought she was!
Cats are happy.
Oh and we made rose hip jam from a bush on our land - lots of vitamin C for the winter :)
