ISSUP Global, in collaboration with Faces & Voices of Recovery, presents its webinar, "Elevating Leadership: A Strength-Based Heart-Centred Approach to Leading"
This webinar explores what it means to lead with both clarity and compassion, centring on the idea that effective leadership is grounded in boundaries, self-awareness, and responsiveness. Participants will examine key tenets of leadership—servant leadership, shared responsibility, and modelling the behaviours they want to see—while considering how these approaches can strengthen recovery-oriented and community-focused contexts. The session will also introduce Daniel Goleman’s six leadership styles, helping participants recognise their own tendencies and the benefits and limitations of each.
Through reflective practices and practical tools, attendees will learn strategies to align values with action, navigate change with steadiness, and cultivate trust within their teams. From the Johari and Nohari Windows to creating a personal leadership “user manual,” the training emphasises actionable ways to lead with both accountability and heart. By the end, participants will be equipped to apply self-reflection tools, manage change effectively, and embrace leadership as a catalyst for healing and systemic change.
