The 2024 PA public land opener was a huge success! It was also a very emotional one. I was able to take part in a wonderful hunt in a location I have enjoyed since 1993. Better yet, I was able to rekindle old relationships at a deer camp I had been a part of for 16 years, from 93 to 08. This opening day of the PA deer season was full of bad weather, fatigue, extreme joy, celebration, lots of hugs and a few tears.
