সফটওয়্যারটি কিনলে খরচ হতো ২০ লাখ থেকে ২৫ লাখ টাকা, অথচ না কিনে শুধু ভাড়া নিয়েই প্রায় ৩৮ কোটি টাকা গচ্চা দিয়েছে সেতু বিভাগ। আর এই বাড়তি টাকা লোপাট করেছে সাবেক আইনমন্ত্রী আনিসুল হকের প্রতিষ্ঠান। সেতুমন্ত্রী ওবায়দুল কাদেরের ইচ্ছায় বিনা দরপত্রে এই কাজ পেয়েছে কম্পিউটার নেটওয়ার্ক সিস্টেম- সিএনএস। প্রতিষ্ঠানটির কাছ থেকে যমুনা সেতুর টোল আদায়ের সফটওয়ার ভাড়া নিতে ঘটেছে এই দুর্নীতি।

And this extra money was lost by the former law minister Anisul Haque's organization. Computer Network System-CNS got this work without tender at the wish of Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.
