2023 XC - Rosemead 2 (Girls, Frosh)

Описание: This is the Freshman race from the 2023 Rosemead Invitational held at Rosemead High School in the San Gabriel Valley portion of the the Los Angeles metro area. Rosemead features just 8 high school races and they pit classmates against classmates rather than the traditional mixed-class varsity squads.

Sarkisian hangs back 30 meters behind the pack of 5 for most of the race. Hits the accelerator before entering the stadium for the finish lap in first place. Relatively fresh and long-legged, she pulls away and takes the backpack home. Big gap between 6th and 7th. Not surprising for a frosh race at the beginning of the season. Not a lot of workouts in their legs, yet.
