Then one of Cameron Green or Matthew Renshaw is likely to make way for Marsh. Australia will also likely bring Xavier Bartlett back into the XI in place of Ben Dwarshuis.

For Sri Lanka, this is their first real test in this competition. They have been too hot to handle for the smaller sides. They will try to keep Australia in check with spin. Pallekele is generally supportive of batting more than any other venue in this part of the world.

The co-hosts can't have a slip-up here because their last league match is against upbeat Zimbabwe. A defeat for Sri Lanka not only puts them under a lot of pressure but also opens up the group.

The likes of Kusal Perera and Charith Asalanka might knock on the doors after a couple of low performances from Kamil Mishara.
