This is my sad, dark poem called ‘Carousel’. It describes the lonely life of someone struggling with depression and trying to find meaning in a chaotic, confusing world.
This heart-breaking poem is for every exhausted soul out there who puts on a brave face every day and smiles, despite feeling utterly alone, lost and scared.
If you’re struggling with your own happiness right now, please don’t be afraid to reach out and get the help you need. You are allowed to feel sad. You deserve to be helped.
