About Atomcraft

Atomcraft is a game where you can pick up and place every pixel of the environment. Pixels react to whatever is around them, and you can build vessels to make chemical reactions happen.

In the beginning your spaceship crashes onto a planet and you have to gather materials to repair it by making acid and breaking down ores. Using chemical reactions to separate out oxygen and hydrogen gas, and cooling it into liquid form, you will soon create rocket fuel and be able to fly from planet to planet in your repaired spaceship.

The planets of the solar system have different materials, including pixelated plants and creatures. Only by traveling to all of them and using various chemical processes can you discover every element of the periodic table. Ultimately, you discover nuclear materials and refine fuel for deep space travel beyond the reaches of the solar system.

Upgrade your drill and your tools to dig deeper and deeper into the planet in search of better materials!
Smelt ore and perform chemical reactions!
Find mysterious artifacts with your artifact scanner
Battle strange creatures
and repair your spaceship piece by piece!

This is an early demo of the game - the full game will release next year (2026) and feature additional biomes, creatures, and chemical reactions, as well as new mechanics like radioactivity.

Every element on the periodic table will exist somewhere on the planet, although extracting them from their ores may require some creativity!


Mechanical pixels are craftable, such as

conveyor belts
trapdoors
heating and cooling elements
wiring for signal-based machines
buttons, switches, and sensors
and even logic gates!

Advanced materials like nitroglycerin require careful construction of a reaction machine to craft them without the materials exploding!
