On a chilly Friday in January, I visited the CP Galt sub, the CN Halton sub, and the CN Oakville sub in hopes of filming all the major train companies you can find in the GTA: CP Rail, CN Rail, GO Transit and VIA Rail.

For the CP Galt sub, I visited the Dixie GO Station, which is located at mile 12.4. This is a great spot to film both GO Trains & CP freights, with signals in both directions facing the platform, you will always know when a train is coming. In this video I filmed two GO Trains & two CP trains at Dixie.

For the CN Halton sub, I visited the Brampton Diamond at mile 15.64. This diamond is located just west of the Brampton GO Station, and has the former OBRY tracks crossing through. I wanted to film trains crossing over the diamond at this spot before they remove the OBRY tracks, now that trains will no longer be using it. I filmed 2 GO Trains and 3 CN freight trains at this spot.

Lastly, I went to my local GO Station in Clarkson, mainly to film a doubleheader, and two VIA's flying through.
