I genuinely wasn’t expecting this.
The stations are immaculate, the trains are quiet and modern, and the pricing is ridiculously cheap for a city of this size. As someone who uses metros all over the world, this felt closer to something you’d expect in East Asia — not what most outsiders imagine when they think of Mumbai.

and whether Mumbai’s newest metro line lives up to the hype
