Special Right Triangles
✅ 30° and 60° (from an equilateral triangle)
If you split an equilateral triangle into two right triangles:
Hypotenuse = 2
Side opposite 30° = 1
Side opposite 60° = √3
Ratio:
1 : √3 : 2
45° (from an isosceles right triangle)
In a 45°–45°–90° triangle:
Opposite side = 1
Adjacent side = 1
Hypotenuse = √2
Ratio:
1 : 1 : √2
