Visited Harshil valley on my motorcycle to meet a friend and also to see the mass destruction that happened due to a cloud burst over Dharali and that changed the picture of this village. En route exploring local villages and Harshil market that is a top tourist destination. Took dip in the Hot water spring at Gangnani was a great experience and a great place too for a halt on the way to Gangotri Dham or Harshil valley. Mukhba Village situated at a short distance (walkable) from the main highway is an authentic and Holi place with Maa Ganga Temple that is highly preached. Filled with vintage wooden homes and cattle and the view from this place makes it worth visiting. Then comes the trek day that was full of adventure and that tested my endurance. The view from there of peaks like Bandarpoonch, Sumeru Parvat and others were incredible. The jungle trek is totally wild and home to many wild animals and Uttarakhand s' state bird Himalayan Monal that can be sighted here. The Journey then started going back Home.
