Описание: Prof. Lewin gave this talk for kids and their parents. He covered the concept of waves, polarization and did demonstrations at the Brewster angle to create 100% linearly polarized light. He also demonstrated that the light from rainbows is close to 100% linearly polarized and that the blue sky at 90 degr from the Sun is 100% linearly polarized. Everyone was given 2 linear polarizers which they could keep. This allowed them to check later outdoors what was demonstrated in the lecture hall.
