Before you get started with your installation, here are some tools you will need. Most plug-in swing arm wall lamps include the screws and wall anchors needed for installation.

1. Pencil
2. Screwdriver
3. Electric Drill
4. Hammer

Before installation, make sure to fully read the manufacturer’s instructions and double check that all included components and parts are accounted for.

Safety is also of top importance when working with screwdrivers, hammers, and especially electric drills. We recommend working with goggles when handling an electric drill.

To start, let’s take a look at some of the benefits of installing a swing-arm wall lamp.

These designs feature swing arms, so they are easy to adjust and position the light just where you need it. They also free up precious table space by moving the light onto the wall. For plug-in wall lamps, make sure a wall electrical outlet is within reach.
