Yes, another Matsushita ceiling fan was acquired. This time, it's the 56" version of the KDK 48" ceiling fan model WZ48Q which I already have! I got this fan at a very cheap price, but it's missing the downrod, the canopies, the speed regulator, and the blade screws are not even available on the fan itself! Therefore, I borrowed the blade screws from my National F-EY149 for this video. The appearance itself is as what you see in the video, it's completely seen better days! The plastic motor covers are yellowed, with severely bent blades, and it previously had locked-up bearings and a broken wire. But I've fixed them so now it's finally able to spin again!

Well unfortunately, I'm not going to fully restore this fan although it is an extremely rare fan in Indonesia (even though this is the 2nd KDK WZ56Q fan I've ever seen in person, the first one was in a mosque that I've ever filmed a few years ago). Although the fan motor itself seems to be still in good shape (just needing new bearings), still I am not interested in restoring it. It's because of the severely bent blades that have a big potential to be unfixable (there are a lot of small dents in almost all areas of all blades that cannot be fixed by just simply bending and hammering them), and also because of the missing parts. That's the main reason why I'm gonna use this fan as a spare part unit, as coincidentally some of my Matsushita fans need some replacement parts that are not even available anymore in stores or online shops. Therefore, I decided to take this video before I started part everything out from this fan. But overall, I am still happy and feel very grateful to have the 56" version of the WZ_Q ceiling fan!
