Описание: Between the period 1958 to 1962 Various islands in the Caribbean that were colonies of the United Kingdom, including Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica, and those on the Leeward and Windward Islands, came together to form the west indies Federation. Similar to the Canadian Confederation and Commonwealth. This country would span across the entire Caribbean sea. before the union could gain any success, the Federation collapsed due to internal political conflicts. at the front and center of the collapse was Jamaica’s opposition leader and future first prime minister Sir Alexander Bustamant.
