Tollbooth Kiosk Upended by Overloaded Truck in East China City

Описание: A tollbooth kiosk was knocked over by an overloadeded heavy goods vehicle in Shaoxing City of east China's Zhejiang Province last Friday.

Surveillance video footage shot from inside the kiosk showed the toll attendant working at about 20:00 when suddenly the tollbooth appeared to be sent crashing backwards.

The horrified attendant was able to escape from the upended kiosk but suffered several bruises to her body as a result of the incident.

The truck, which has a carrying capacity of 16 tonnes, was actually found to be packed with over 23 tonnes of cloth, which ultimately led to the unusual accident.

"Because the vehicle was excessively loaded, the goods got got hooked onto the tollbooth and brought it down," said Wang Yun, a local traffic police officer.

Wang said the driver was fined 700 RMB and received seven penalty points on his license, and will bear the costs of repairing the damaged tollbooth. More on: http://www.cctvplus.com/news/latest.s...
