Named "Dracula" edition due to location and the scary parts, if it does not seem scary at the start, you should look around the middle of the video, for when the fog descended and brought the night. Overall the compiled images should let you "feel" maybe a bit of some of our emotions and ad-hoc strategy to deal with the difficult challenge. This compilation is for our international friends, colleagues and partners. As you can see we have been taken by surprise by a lightning storm and we had to abandon our plans or risk to split the group and the risk a more difficult descent on the second day. That road was initially not an option for half of the team, until the storm made it the only option. We had 2 stock Dusters, one with a new unlucky driver and one with a pro. The pro had no damage, as a road opener, while the new guy had some scratches and bruisers. All the cars on the road, including a second 4x4 upgraded group coming from the back and made of Toyota, Hyundai, Suzuki, etc also had at the end some sort of bruises. The road was so slippery that you always got too close to trees, deep raveens, roots and forest scrub, thus we inevitably got the scratched and bruises. The fact that loggers use the road to transport wood with big trucks, made the road even more of a nightmare in heavy rain conditions.
In the end, the Dusters have exceeded all expectations, especially the ones that had the minimal off-road upgrade setup. We should mention that one Nissan Patrol driver Luc Mihai has decided to sell his Nissan 4x4 and experience a more adrenaline filled off-road with his Duster. We all agree that it is harder to do serious offroad with a Duster, thus the increased skill demand on any driver in heavy offroad conditions.

We should the heroes of the trip, three awesome and experienced support-offroaders: Jean, Radu and Cosmin. These guys with big hearts kept the column rolling.

PS. As a legacy lesson, use winter chains and and install them before any longer forest than 20min, its a good exercise anyway.
