Brush Creek, California

Описание: Brush Creek (formerly, Mountain Cottage and Mountain House) is an unincorporated community near Oroville in Butte County, California, United States. It lies at the east end of State Route 162, just beyond the Lake Oroville State Recreation Area. It lies at an elevation of 3,540 feet (1,079 m). A post office operated at Brush Creek from 1856 until 1916, having moved once in 1902.

Brush Creek is just one of the many areas that the North Complex Fire had swept through. The majority of the trees around are dead, and many of the residential properties had been destroyed. Out in the distance you can see what parts of the forest are still alive or are dead. Even though it had happened two years ago, I wanted to show what it looks like today. I'll move on to other areas when I can such as Berry Creek, and Bucks Lake.
